Some fun facts about me:


I own way too many pairs of dungarees (borderline obsessed) and love red lipstick.

I used to bake birthday cakes for my friends when we were at school. I would even bring candles and matches and light them in the lunch hall.

I was once a bin man for 6 months. I genuinely really enjoyed it.

Back in my days as a secondary school teacher I once used the term ‘mass debate’ when teaching a group of 13-year-old boys. Big mistake ...

I sometimes think I was born in the wrong decade. I would have been right at home in the 1940's.

I sing in a band.

I have an amazing family. Three crazy rascal children, a neglected and long-suffering husband who is ALWAYS having to wash up after my baking. Three awesome sisters who are huge fun and offer brilliant advice. Amazing supportive parents and in-laws who often rescue me from childcare dilemmas. I reward all my supporters in cake. And lots of it.

Running is my go to mechanism when I need headspace. I love exploring the countryside around my house.
